She has spent the last six months overseeing both the Navigate Seaside Hotel and Porters Boutique Hotel,  officially moving to the Porters Boutique Hotel full time in the role of GM on 1 September.

Evans joined the team in October on a part-time basis, and is responsible for maximising bookings for the hotel’s function spaces and accommodation.

She moved across from Sydney in May 2016 to settle in Hawke’s Bay and have worked in the travel industry since 2000 with varied sales, business development and management roles with retail travel agencies, tour operators and cruise lines.
